He’s had another really good overnight season.  Stakes winners are what he is getting dogged about.  Just a down year and nothing else in my opinion.  It happens.  But is it because he has rubbed people the wrong way over the years?

The only Driver worth giving more money to would be Dexter but why?  If your driving the best horse or you want to drive the best horse then how are you gonna say I want 10% to drive?  I would say "5% but only if you win I'll give you 10%" Drivers are very very important but only 1 can command getting extra and he only wants to drive the best anyway.

david miller is better than dexter dudd.
also brett miller back when he was driving with walter at nfld. id say he was better than dexter dudd. with that being said brett drove real power (v. morgan jr/ john lee)
so its more or less the horse. and not getting locked in.

How do you think Dexter gets all the power?  It's not a beauty contest it's raw talent.  Tetrick drove Mirage all year and Dexter climbs on and he's a different horse.  I love David but he is 85% of Dexter's talent at this stage.  David will not work out a trip with a rank horse and Dexter is all finess.  Horses just respond different to his hands behind them.  No different than Walter Case at NFLD.  Walter was 2 seconds better than any driver their and you could switch horses and let anyone else drive them and they would not get out of them what Walter could.  Your talking about good good drivers.  Dexter is a great once in a generation type driver.  Walter Case was god given raw talent.  It can't be taught and it don't matter what he sits behind he's beating you.  He didn't always have the best horse but he could overcome with talent.

Exactly - Dexter and Zeron are easy to talk to and don't try to train your horse like Timmy does.  Timmy always has an equipment change or something you need to do making you feel like you don't know what your doing.

as for walter he drove all of big bobs horses. those things would glow in the dark if the track lights went out. dont get ewrong i do think walter was probably one of the greatest. they tried tying his hit in the stirrups with bungee chords. he wasnt hurting the horses it was scaring them to go faster. its not like he lined up a 50 yd fg. alot more drivers "kick" than we know. they just had a microscope on him is all.

if you still watch him he still does it.
walter for the most part was pretty nice getting off the bike.  that was jizzmores downfall.  bad attitude.
