Mohawk Monday
« on: July 15, 2024, 09:12:57 AM »
Race#3-#8 BAYFIELD BEACH 5-1 Weak looking bunch with limited gate speed, should be sent down the road in here. #7 will be the prohibitive favorite but is a stone cold closer.

Race#6-#8 AQUINAS HANOVER 6-1 ML Likely to go off much lower then ML. Supreme effort in Ottawa in his first lifestime start, Fillion opts for another but that’s not a big surprise in here. Going for enough that McClure should stay awake.

Race#9-#6 KINCH 8-1 ML Makes his seasonal debut off a qualifier in Indiana. Big last quarter on the off track, short field, won’t be far off, should go off at long odds.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Race#6 will be an interesting race as Carl Jamieson elects to race both of his 2yr. olds in
the same heat. His barn has been on fire as the babies all have race well up to
this point. Winning with Power Code and a 3rd place finish with the trotter
Tackticallyspeaki ng at M1 over the weekend. 2nd with TH Kay Crunch on Thur.
#3 Out of Ice is reportedly  the best of the barn and should give a good account
in this race. #6 Fifth and Five has also raced well since coming north from
Florida. Both horses given the right trip can reach tonight.

  • Trigger: The DRF for Saturday's (1/31/26) GP card just came online, awaiting Tampa and Santa Anita.  Not doing AQ, Turfway, LAUR, and Oaklawn, too cold, however if OAK races, SW is a 1mil race.
