Amateur race thurs at Yonkers - 5 horses
« on: May 28, 2024, 02:07:15 PM »
They managed to scrape up five horses for this amateur trot. Other tracks are overflowing with these amateur types.
This is just ridiculous already. Last night 2/3's of the card was 5 or 6 horse fields, and they had a race that handled $12,000.

Right now those who founded Yonkers and some who raced there in its “glory days”, their ‘gravesites are spinning’ with amateur races at the track and for the purses they race for too even though they don’t get paid to drive.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
