Wanted to let you know that fug will have checked in to see what has been said, but will not be posting any more on the site.  Since I "knew" him from the shedrows at RR, I am sorry to see him go.

I am also sorry to see him quit us but how many times will you or Fug be giving us his retirement notice?

I'm 80, so "retired" a while ago, although I still have owned some horses and intend to own a few more, but am no longer jogging them ;>>)

So to summarize, this goof spewed hate on good people in the business, then when the heat was turned up, ran off like a sissy?

This is too comical, almost seems like SCM level of patheticness

Maybe it was the "pre-retirement" announcement & the real retirement ceremony is yet to come.
They're trying to figure out which public washrooms would be best to host such an event.
We don't need to race, we do it for the love of horses & because we can. Great game if you have the means.
*3 y.o colt & filly have been top3 in their sire stake
*The 2 y.o's have shown a ton of talent & 1 just missed a sire stake win

I started racing at Y & R in '67. My stable name at the time was Foxboro Stables Ltd. out of Old Brookville, L.I. I later had Newmarket Farms 1 & 2 in Jessamine Cty., KY. and Reddick, Fla. I don't think I knew Fug, however, I considered him harmless and equated in some respects to The Senator albeit not as nasty. I know some of of his stories are true some are embellished, and some are 3rd hand google .You should be willing to take them as you please because your opinions as well as mine are subjective at best. Start an argument about Bigfoot, Nessi, or Noah's Ark and see what happens.

It’s SO SAD that horseplop has to deal with the same ‘nonsense’ year after year only with a different set of characters and racing issues.  The ‘current’ issues of today are amateur hour compared to the past on horseplop. There were actually ‘threats of violence’ as well as permanent bans of individuals on horseplop. Wake up people!  If you can’t deal with things said on here without being nasty/vindictive, don’t post here!

Horseplop is an open forum. If you're not happy with that, tough shit. Post what you want, read what you want, agree with a post, don't agree with a post. The people that come on here and cry because their feelings got hurt can go fuck themselves.

You are so right. I have been here for over 10 years and today is like a summer stroll. I still don't have to like it but still have to accept it.
