BANCAS DAD SPENT A BOATLOAD OF MONEY TRYING TO GET THEM TO BACK OFF BUT THERE WAS AND STILL IS JUST WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE ON THAT FISHMAN LIST WHO ARE EVENTUALLY GOING TO GO DOWN ONE YEAR AT A TIME. WHY DO YOU THINK ERV IS LAYING SO LOW. YOU HARDLY HEAR HIS NAME. HE IS SCREWED BUT DON'T EXPECT LUCPARK TO TELL YOU.

Could you imagine being denied your liberty?  I'm not sure I could name a person that has spent an hour in a cell.

I guess if it is all you know, it is not a big deal.   But for so many normal people, that would be unimaginable.

Anyone who has spent 1 minute behind a cell door will tell you it's intimidating, to say the least. There have been a number of prominent horseman who have been incarcerated. and a lot of not very important people.

They should not be allowed to race. They all plead guilty, haven't seen any remorse. Should have been part of sentence.

Allard should never be allowed  within a mile of a horse--anywhere. From the transcripts- when they raided his barn--he had a pharmacy present in his "Vet Room". He employed a Vet-Grasso-who apparently just obeyed whatever Allard wanted. Grasso as we heard had a serious Gambling addiction--which made him putty in Allards hands. If it wasnt for Grasso getting in trouble with the Feds--he was also in Trouble with the Casinos!.
All the indicted are in the right place--hopefully racing never sees them again.

1.  No jurisdiction will grant a racing license to any of the convicted felons upon release.
2.  Upon release each will serve their probation period with an assigned probation officer.   The court will require financial statements monthly as long as they are on probation and every penny earned will be required to be reported on a monthly basis.
3.  Currently each of the incarcerated have already begun to repay the restitution from their prison wages which are very low.  Federal law requires a minimum of $25/quarter of payments from their prison salary.
4.  Upon completion of probation each will be forced to continue monthly payments in restitution until 100% of all restitution is repaid.   Although, at the end of probation the restitution judgment becomes a civil case and is out of the criminal docket.
5.  Until restitution is repaid in full no one will receive a tax refund from federal taxes.
6.  Probation officers can visit the homes of the convicted felons at their discretion.
7.  Most likely the federal government has already investigated assets of each and most will be  levied on and sold including joint property owned by wives---usually the percentage owned by wife is returned to wife if there is equity in the home, car, etc.
8.  Many foreign countries will not let a convicted felon enter their country---ie. Canada.
9.  The US government will not issue passports to those owing over $50,000 in restitution.
10. Upon completion of probation the criminal judgment is converted to a civil judgment and is collected for 20 years or death.   It does not go away---it remains for 20 years or death.
11. Most companies will not hire a convicted felon----there may be jobs out there but few.
12. Many credit issuers will deny credit or cancel credit cards already issued if you become or are a convicted felon----even after probation ends.
13. Many banks will not open checking/savings for convicted felon.
14. Lifetime ban to own any guns or for anyone in your household to have possession of any firearm.   Immediate violation and ex will be sent back to prison from where they were released
15.Everyone works in prison.
16. Can you recover from being a convicted felon-----very few do and it is nearly impossible for most to earn what they truly could earn
17.  Most spouses  file for divorce within 12 months of the conviction due to their laws that can in fact penalize the other spouse and innocent children.

Truthfully, few if any recover----these folks will never race and if there is hidden ownership --it will be discovered.  This is not a game--this is the real thing   There is no such thing as CLUB FED---it is prison.   Most tracks would deny access to the track if known they were convicted felons.

It is a long and rocky road to recovery.   Recall the restitution remains for 20 years or death.
