Anyone have any information pertaining to finalization of the sale were they able to get the property the deadline for signing the contract was December 1st thanks for the wonderful general manager Chris locking and the owners of Sports Creek playing Hardball Holding Out for more money at the last second after they already agreed on a price it written In The Holly paper that the sale was not going to go through because agreement was not adhered to but that they had till December 1st to sign the contract that was pending anyone please post update if any known by anybody I looked for new news but haven't seen yet

It is now official Sports Creek has been sold as of 6 hours ago on the 14th of December before their deadline they finally caved and came to an arrangement on the property and sold it out right it's about time after Renovations and some cleanup let the money flow get

Let's hope they open in Jan feb is tax time flush with cash it be nice to see some of the old faces .I don't see most going to northville they use online accounts but I like cash in hand not in the mail

Just say it's nice to see some people the crew you hung with back before they closed .we will see what they do hopefully they can hang on till sports betting is legal here in 2013total simucast  income 15million and they didn't spend 1millon in costs they do fine after it's starting a going

As property has only been sold. 2weeks ago sports Creek showing good signs I drove through the  lot gate was open a low a behold all the high weeds a grass were gone they taken advantage of good weather a no snow signs of people working couple work vans parked outside.barn roof looked new silver plate a tractors been moved .it's not much but shows it's moving forward .

A handful of people will go to the simulcast,which will be worthless,and as far as the live racing? 5,6, and 7 horse fields with small purses will attract a very low handle,there is NO,I REPEAT NO chance that the creek will survive,Jesus Christ!!
