The first summer Chris Oaks was suspended I was stuck in a traffic jam in Delaware shipping 2 race at Scioto. As I looked to my right I spotted his rig behind a Shoping Plaza with a side door open. His son pops out and walked to a dumpster and deposited something from his hand. When I got a  program, he had only one horse in and it was a named feature Invite & he had the rail  best FFA horses from all over country were in special Invite with a six figure purse & a morning line of 3-1 but he crept up to10-1,so I bet $30 across.When the gate sprung he left like a scalded dog and turned away all comers.(I can't remember the horses name but I'm pretty sure that Pete Wrenn  drove him)

I think it was Split the House, with Merriman driving in the 2018 Ewart??

Split the House did win the Breeders Crown in 2019? I think. Also wasnt he the trainer of Homicide Hunter. The switch to Pelling for Dandy Ideal all of sudden is a red flag
