After 321 starts and over 500k earned 12 yo Sullivan broke down in Monticello race 1 and had to be euthnized due to a broken leg.  He was trained by Koch/Milici.

Koch and Milici also had Vinovio and Heart of my Sleeve break down on August 6 and Vinovio was put down that day. I have no idea what happened to Heart of my Sleeve.

How awful!  Horse won his last race, w2w by a neck 157 2/5.  $5k price tag, horse made his owners $500,000.  Aldrich jumped to his own horse, Jim DeVaux was in the bike, horse was heavily backed, still finished the race 202 3/5.
