David R. Sachs, D.V.M. — 1999–2002 disciplinary case: After four horses trained by Joseph Minieri tested positive for naloxone following races at Monticello in November 1999, the Board investigated David Sachs. On December 29, 2000, the Board charged him with nine counts, including allegations that he administered naloxone to horses within the prohibited period before racing, conspired to violate racing rules, failed to report the conspiracy, failed to keep required treatment/injection records, failed to maintain adequate veterinary records, and failed to provide accurate/complete information during the investigation.
Narcan- the stuff they squirt into the noses of people OD'ing on opioids--is Naloxone.....
There must have been some serious stuff going on besides milkshaking.....
In the last 24 hours, me who can handle insane and visually gruesome has grown incredible enraged...the NY Post headline about horses not becoming chopped meat, this bullshit, everything else like a grain of salt, Sullivan...people are the fucking worst, and when you hear bad shit it's usually just a fraction of what's been uncovered. Always worse...you make an excellent point, and sadly this doesn't surprise. Thanks Doc.
I need a break from horse abuse and murder, otherwise I'm past the point of snuffing a mother fucker out
