They barely started and already have had a fatality. Driver Scott Knight killed in a multi horse pile up.

For those unaware, Desert Park Raceway is not a new facility, but a repurposed track that was once part of the BC Interior quarter horse/thoroughbred fair circuit with Kin Park, Kamloops and Sunflower Downs.

Sad situation for sure. Makes me wonder that since the facility was closed for a while,the track condition was to blame?  May something like a critter tunnel or hole not far from the surface 🤔
