I will try and keep this brief..

The weather sucked,except for Jug Day
If you could only have 1 day of nice weather, Jug Day is it
Props to the track crew
The fair food, always awesome, but my stomach after a week's worth disagrees
Great to see family and friends..lots that I only see one week a year
Met alot of really nice new people, horsemen and fans
Exchanged numbers with a few that I will talk to throughout the year
The best horse won the jug, he is really in great form now
Happy for JJ winning his 2nd LBJ
I chatted with him in the winners circle, seems like a good dude
My brother and I cleared almost $800 for the week, $400 each
Best gambling week in years for us there by a mile
I hate to see Jug week end..always kind of sad
Back to work and reality for me Monday

Thanks for the report! Great form?!?!? Hell yeah, I'll say he is!!! This colt is on an upward trend and I hope yesterday was not the peak of it. The BC is a month away, and I didn't hear what Pentland's plans are between now and then, but boy that was a hell of day for that colt. Second Jug for JJ and his first was 19 years ago!!! Jody is one of the good guys in the sport/industry.

good recap. i do instagram for the sole purpose of communication with a friend from india. i do a lot of youtube and see a lot of races there. so with that reason must be instagram also showed a lot of races. where i am going on with this, is it looked very cool. atmosphere seemed top notch. picture i remember the most is how far back ronnie wren was leaning. you work hard and deserve this time. enjoy it always. and beware, the misfits are even crazier

After the post race interviews are over, I always go from the grandstand to the winners circle. I always get the winning driver to sign my racing program
I've got quite the collection at this point.
Since smart phones. I usually get a selfie as well.
When getting the program signed, I chat briefly with the driver.
Back in the day, when they had a nice floral arrangement/ blanket the drivers would pass out flowers to the fans. I would always snag 2 flowers
1 for my wife, 1 for my Mom

He'd know that if he left his mousehole...makes countless calls and emails for a fucking horseshoe, Couny the loser

One thing I forgot to mention..attendan ce
Sunday thru Wednesday was meager at best
Combo of lack of interest and wretched weather
Jug Day..nice crowd
Was it like in my youth in the eighties and nineties..not even close
But it was a decent crowd size on Thursday
