That's a no brainer. Ron Burke is the best trainer of all time, and someone who loves and supports this sport. Trainer Petrelli on the other hand has a vendetta against the entire sport of Harness Racing and is unknown outside of horseplop. If you go to any major track and survey any leading owner, trainer or driver, he is unknown and irrelevant. Real talk.

I would say I’m not pro either.  I think Burke is bad for racing.  To make the comment all these races will go away if he retires is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Someone else will buy those horses and someone else will enter. Couldn’t it be possible that people aren’t entering these races to go up against four or five of his best horse horses?  As far as Petrelli, I do believe he cares about horses.  I don't believe  he would be on this quest to expose cheaters had he not been put on the outside of the game.  He knew big time cheaters while in the game and never said anything.  Hard to like someone that speaks and acts the way he does when someone disagrees with him.  Although many on here deserve it.  I like his cause, just not the way it’s delivered at times.  Like it or hate it, JMO.

I have known Ron and his family for years he's a good friend of mine. Ron is certainly an asset to the sport he's a proven winner year and a year out.

The other one is nothing but a welfare reciprocate that walked out on his family,, thankfully Tommy Merton came to the rescue to help out.
