horses.....yeah he is fast ....but weak hearted vs

show and Ian Moore knows as well.

With a weak Maternal line and mediocre 3 year old


season.....not so sure he will be so attractive in the

Much rather go with horses like Nijinsky and



Captains Quarters....that had Stakes winning Dams.


and were just as fast as Beau Jungles....

Despite the talk, I don't think he was a very serious candidate for the LBJ. Moore is not stupid. He's sharp. The horse right now is not at the level of the best colts in NA. Aside from that, fast or not, he's a very, very big horse. A half is one thing, Delaware is something different. I don't knock the horse or the connections for passing on the Jug. Smart move.

Yep, Barberry Spur was a big horse. I saw him up close. I would say he was 16 plus hands no question. No doubt big horses have won the Jug. I was just saying BJ is not just not in the top of the class any longer, but he's also a very big horse. Big, long stride, covers a lot of ground, and so on. I'd bet a couple of bucks he's bigger than Barberry Spur, but that's just going on memory. That was a long time ago, LOL. I was simply not surprised at all-----all things considered-----that they didn't send him to the Jug. Primary reason being he is just not up to it now. It's too bad. I wish he were.
