Looks like Faroldo , Ford and the unethical lawyers rallied Burke to run.I don't  think it is for a fresh face. They are upset because Williams finally realizes what kind of criminals they are and asked for investigations.No w they have to do damage control.The investigations  lead to many USTA directors.Right Mark Ford and Torcello!
They lead to Wendy with Galliers. Jessica with Pacer2.Ford with Surick on the wiretaps wondering if they caught up with Navaro two years before the indictment.
  Burke can't  afford his records exposed.He has more to lose than anyone., so just run for election. He doesn't  want to be exposed like Adam Bowden.Little do they realize they already are !!!!  Just ask Nancy about Poliseno's invoices.
