No Waitlist is like the grinch, he has a heart two sizes too small. If he charges to the front, he’ll be gassed at the 7/8ths.

If he goes to the top then gets passed by a retake or early quarter move and sits the pocket, he won't win, but definitely make the final 100%
If he gets stuck cutting the mile he's cooked

I'd drop out last. Follow some cover. Then IF you make the final, use your speed and try and suck along for a piece of the big pie.

I remember that as well..many times.
Peace Corps was barred..she will always be my favorite trotter
I was 11 or 12 and asked my Grandfather why I couldn't bet on her
He said just watch and you will find out why
Barring might be a stretch in that race..
Big Ranger should obviously win, but ya never know
The other really good trotter in Ohio this year, Tom Largo is in race 18

It is fear.  Racing is just a speed bump to a stallion career. Racing is a necessary evil. Race as little as possible in races where the probability of losing is low.

OR
#2 POSSIBLY Bank 300 grand, go 2 heats and risk a bad post draw

Easy decision and I am bummed he isn't at Delaware this week

The triple crown races just don't mean as much anymore...its a shame they don't.

The bottom line is it ignore the fans. Having the best horse skipping the race is horrible for marketing the sport.

It is the structure of the industry. The handouts rule.
