That is some wicked speed.  Pelling bought her for $4,000 (I believe it was at Harrisburg.)

Based on this, it sounds like she was a buyback (although showing for the $67,000, since it was the breeder who bought her?? and then the rest is incorporated below. (P.S. I have found that AI makes a lot of mistakes and bluffs them through as facts or does not have enough "knowledge" of the area being questioned to properly interpret things like a buyback.)

Consigned by Kentuckiana Farms as Agent for Order By Stable, she was purchased by Stefan Balazi (Agent for Order By Stable, Sweden) for $67,000.2025 Harrisburg Mixed Sale (as a 2yo): After encountering some training issues as a two-year-old while under the care of trainer Brett Pelling for Order By Stable, her connections decided to turn her out and eventually put her in the Harrisburg mixed auction. Pelling liked her enough to buy her back himself for a bargain price of $4,000.

When she sold as a yearling.....I think the dam was owned by Tony Alagna and Eric Cherry. I thought I remembered them being the breeder of the filly when she sold as a yearling. I don't know if the sold the mare or what.

I'm not necessarily disputing there might be "other factors" at play here, Lucpark, but do have to concede there is something to be learned from training methods outside of the US, on more than one continent.

Also, all the drugs in the world can't turn a mediocre horse into a superstar, and seems Pelling saw something in her. She's a nice filly.

Looking at the breeders, my guess is they listened to Alagna on what she looked like because the other 3 involved wouldn’t know the first thing about confirmation.  Pelli g on the other hand is making them look like morons.

first off she is a little more than a "nice horse"
secondly the breeders likely decided to sell as she was smallish and they were likely happy with $67k
also consider her future value as broodmare down the road as she is well bred
however if she stays this good Pelling wont be breeding her or selling her to a farm , she can make much more on the track
