so in a desperate move and in a spiteful rage-he throws a few million to make John Campbell squirm a little

why not use that money to keep the race at his track?

Notice how some horsemen immediately said so where did this money suddenly come from? Right there exposing the welfare attitude. It's HIS money and he can spend it as he pleases. He's always had it and that doesn't mean he has to spend it them. I'm a grifter? The entire industry is a grift. For him a million plus to stick it to those he believes shafted him is worth it. Horsemen need to just stfu and say thank you. Something they're incapable of and only count the money in his pockets.
