I bought my first yearling at auction back in the mid 60's as a teenager. 
Since then I have been to a gazillion horse and farm auctions all over the country.
IMHO
Don't ever even for a second believe everthing the results sheet says!
I personally have been in to many phony deals.

I hear you. Mike Repole has gone public with it now. I love the deflection, BS answer that Keeneland gave.
