Made the right move with the best horse tonight and made up for his late move with Confederate  in the Pepsi NA in 2023.  I am sure that race (which I believe was one of Confederate's 2 losses that entire year, where he was voted Horse of the Year and also set the 3yo mark of 1:46.1 which still holds) stands out in his mind more than any other drive he may have ever blown in his long and successful career.

Confederate was not a great horse. He spent too much time hiding in KY and his mark was basically a time trial with a purse. Confederate is a prime example of why harness racing is dying.

So the sport is dying because Confederate won at the Red Mile in 46.1?   Where's the logic in that?  Also, I had no idea Harrah's Hoosier was in Kentucky.
