i do get that but you still need to show an effort your trying to win , that’s the entire point of racing horses

Leaving the gate and sitting a 2 hole at 12/1 isn't trying?  This isn't like the old days when everyone was rocking, whipping, driving in every race.  When they outlawed whipping with more than an elbow move it makes then all look like mummies in the sulky most of the time.  With a 2 year old trotter you definitely don't want to start moving lines and cracking whips to startle them.  He popped the plugs after 3/4 like any normal driver trying to win would do.  If I had $10 to win on him I would be mad also.  LOL
