On life support at best. I actually used to like Michigan racing, especially the cross-border Canadian connection. Like with other states, the entire landscape just dried up and withered away. Domino effect. When KY racing was on the verge of insolvency back in the late 80's and early 90's, and the KYSS program was in complete disarray, you still had a major, national presence breeding industry in-state which virtually rescued and revived the SS program, and racing to some extent. Also a domino effect.
