All her dad's owners have slowly left her. Most are with Marcus Melander now. 0/8 on Hambo Day. $24,250 worth of entry fees plus what ever it cost to keep them horses staked originally to those races. Complete disaster of a day. Captain Optimistic owners are dumb for keeping that horse with her, they have other horses with Pelling, move and let him be more consistent and probably faster. Every year you see her buying at sales is less and less. That will continue for sure.

It is a good thing she has daddy's money because she could not make a nickel on her own. Take away her name and her father, start her at the yearling sale with $150,000 budget to buy a few horses, how do you think she will do? She's got a loud mouth for someone who been handed everything, surprised there is any time for her to talk with all the dick she constantly sucks in the business, literally. Not even in the top 20 trainers this year with all that money she spends. Her vet bills are largest in the business now that Casie Coleman is retired. She is a bad person with a lot to say for someone who should keep her mouth shut.

You haters are all full of shit-and so happy to kick someone in the gut when down on their luck. It happens-and happens a lot in the horse industry.
Why aren't you throwing in Tony Alagna  while you are at it--he's spent even more than Nancy-even paid a million dollars for one--how has he been doing? Greg Luther spent 10 million last year and made 3-hes not complaining-he has the money and everyone like him--looks for that once in a lifetime horse and pays big money to try and get one. How did Casie Colemans purchases do last year--crickets.
It happens---but when you get that horse everyone hopes to get--its life changing--ask Ron Burke-gets a Gelding that made 7 Million-then right after
he gets Sweet Lou-not only a Champion racehorse but now makes millions each year in the breeding shed--pretty hard to fuck all that up.
Nancys letter had a lot of good points--you can disagree with some of it like i do---but at least it gets people talking--Nancy is a sweet girl-that loves the game-she works hard and I for one wish her all the luck.

I agree with most of that.  For whatever reason, a lot of Nancy haters on here and I'm not really sure why.  Lots of other trainers deserve it but don't get the hate.
