very good crowd on sunday. monday a bit slow but showers. tonight at 7. ggod card and some races under the lights, a rare thing now in maine. a bloming onion for dinner and a cold one for the races.

Hard to beat being at the fair in Skowtown on a beautiful summer evening.  Never had much success betting there until I realized the 1 and 2 post positions aren’t great unless the horse has speed to leave.  If the 1 or 2 don’t get off the gate, they get buried on that first turn.

crazy night. couldnt find a favorite anywhere on a ticket. i tossed half the chalk and still couldnt cash many tickets. it is a funky track, toss the 6/7 post but you need spped to leave even from the rail.

windsor fair thursday. will they race? rain forecasted.
