Bret Beckwith
« on: August 14, 2026, 12:06:55 PM »
Driver Brett Beckwith and Trainer Per Engblom walked away with the dash-win titles for their respective occupations at the Winter-Spring-Championship Meet that concluded Hambletonian Day.

Brett Beckwith accepts the award as the top dash-winning driver at The Meadowlands.
Beckwith finished with 101 wins, which were 10 more than runner-up Joe Bongiorno. Beckwith has now won back-to-back W-S-C crowns, and is also seeking a second straight yearly title. During 2025, Beckwith recorded 146 victories, but may have trouble equaling that number in 2026, since the 23-year-old pilot spent two months earlier this year recovering from injuries suffered in a spill.

2/3 of those wins happened when the top drivers were either out of town or on vacation.

This was already posted. Are you surprised that drivers get fined here and there? Go look at David Miller, Yannick, all of them.

You're wasting your time with Pacer2, he has a little boy crush on Brett and is the greatest thing since having dinner with Jeff Gural.

Desperate is deflecting the biggest news in harness racing with Meadowlands losing the Hambo and posting a 5-day old story.

Just curious, what's more important, how many races you win or how much money?  If we're talking money, he was #4, with twice as many drives or more as the top 3.

Saturday Brett 9 wins 3 seconds in 20 drives. I don't get why any real fan trashes the Kid. He easily makes the top 10 in my list.
