while several are top horseman that may not play in

to their effect long term on the Public's perception

of Harness Racing long term.

They all followed the school of thought...

"If you are not cheating..you aren't trying"

Seth Fishman.   Vet           Incarcerated

Nick Surick.      Top Trainer at Freehold Raceway      Jail

Jorge Navarro   Top Trainer at Monmouth                 Jail

Richard Banca   Top trainer at Yonkers                     Jail?

Jason Servis      Top Trainer  Tbreds                         Jail

other trainers with extremely questionable records
somehow have eluded the Racing Commissions
long term.

Doug O Neil.    (4) CO2  violations..

Doug said it must have been the Hay.

Noel Daley     "Down Under " Group

Noel no Choirboy...."king of the Syringe"

He can get them to GO GO GO GO GO

went "on leave"  after The Feds said Please leave the USA

The major documented cases are:

2007 (New Jersey): Daley was suspended 270 days after the New Jersey Racing Commission found prohibited substances and drug-related equipment in his stable.

2018 (New Jersey): Daley was fined $10,000 and suspended 90 days for possession of hypodermic needles, syringes, injectables and/or other drugs under racing rules.

FBI and several Racing Commissions are watching

extremely close..

Several competitors requesting 4 week Detention Barns
for current participants.

They say he has a new product in use?

Probably Rumor??    of Asian origin

His 2 year old just won in 1:49:4 on a 5/8 in Pa

(is that a 15/16th's of a mile?)

Excellent horseman...no doubt about that.

The "People's Choice"

In all fairness to Noel his 1980' and 1990's record was

clean...

He left for the dark side after 2000...according to

Public record...and definitely is a Top Trainer.

How do you explain the business thriving at the right tracks? Also the thoroughbreds have had multiple trainers that use hard drugs their business is thriving as well.

Nothing ruined harness racing there are just more options for people today than there was back in the 80s.

Handles are down at almost every track so business wise they're not thriving. The top drivers might be at a few tracks, but without the welfare some tracks would eventually have to close or offer $3000 purses, then nobody will be thriving.

Public perception of all Horse Racing is at an all time

Low.....well documented.

While the internet is where the action is...

other than the Jug..the attendance of most tracks

including Tbred Tracks is the lowest in history.

The recent Drug busts in Harness racing have certainly

not helped the Public perception of our sport...

This is old information...

Thriving Casinos...Yes....

with the $$$. trickling down to the tracks to give

an illusion of "Thriving Racing"...(for now)

Without the casino subsidies.....

we will have Fair Racing...and nothing more.

Again...old news.

Sorry to lay this on you gents.

PS.  and remember....

If they nail a trainer 1 X......how many times

have they "Missed" and the trainer has eluded

the system..

  Maybe 20 X

Its like speeding...I used to speed every time I was in my car

But the Police only caught me a few times...

When they did ...I was guilty as hell.

but got away with it.  100-1

that's a great point! Trainers and drivers did not ruin the sport by the way,, for good horses the sports never been healthier.

You can include David McNeight Jr, an EPO user who they somehow let back in the game in Western NY.
He probably has some others using his game plan there too.
