Fourth loss in a row. COMPLETELY stopped. Well on the way to breaking this horse's spirit.
Lung infection probably back. ;D

Jesus Christ that was the worst I have ever seen. IMO Beau Jangles is done. He has been cooked, had his heart ripped out. Don't know if he bled or what as well but 52 and change, McClure should be banned from driving.

I don't think Beau improved as much as they would have liked from 2yo and there is no way he makes his next planned start

Doc is having a tough day.

Shalom Hanover set a track record at Pocono beating AMAC and Atomix Hanover who ran a good second. Atomix is going to make plenty of $$$ if they look after him but Shalom Hanover won pretty easy and is now 3-3

Same boat. He was handed a rail trip. Terrible, terrible drive, and I was also willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until now.

Don't be surprised if that's the last start of Beau Jangles career

I agree it was a terrible drive, but the horse was parked to a 52 3/5 half and then stopped. Any horse would stop off that trip. If he is ok physically, would think they will regroup and race in a few weeks at Mohawk. Probably with a new driver and just look to race off a helmet.

He’s not the first great two year old colt to regress at 3. With that being said, atrocious trip by McClure, I’ll assume he’s not driving him again. Jody’s colt was massive in here as well.

This type of race really shows how incredible SOMEBEACHSOMEWHER E was with the awful trip he got in the Meadowlands Pace & still paced hard right to the wire, just getting beat.

JJ outdrove them all...

Not much Beau Jangles could do...

take back and move to the front....

fast pace...but when u go for big $$$

the favs dont always win...

not really the drivers fault.

front end sometimes gets scorched

Beau Jangles raced very hard at 2

still race well at 3  and has now tailed off

They are flesh and blood....not machines

still took home some nice paychecks

and racked up some good wins.

May be tough to regroup off the last 2 losses

vs. weaker Sires Stakes competition.

Probably best to get him ready for breeding but I

donot own the horse.

Which farm will he be standing at?

Tara Hills probably...where Cattlewash is.

and what is the upside....maybe take a stab at the JUG?

2 heats....my guess is Doc passes on that.

45 days away in the US and a few years ago

I was there and it was like 100 degrees in the shade

brutal.

You better have a tuf MF to go 2 heats in the JUG

on a super hot day..

Lots of the Great ones didnot wish to contest...
