Burke/56 starters/5 tracks/one day
« on: July 24, 2026, 08:49:26 PM »
How deos he do it?
7/25/2026
Meadows       31 in to go
Meadowlands  2 in to go
Scioto           12 in to go
Pocono           6 in to go
Hoosier          5 in to go
After each race each horse has to be individually evaluated for soundness, vet work, training schedule, equipment changes, next start, etc.
And that is just one day!
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that he does it himself even though A-I could probably handle it!

Must be nice to have so many good or great friends who don't know you from a horse's ass. Some of them even take you to lunch at a virtual McDonalds.

Amazing operation and his work ethic is incredible. The people that say he’s a doper are dope’s themselves.

Probably an office manager type employee that among other things tracks much of this and compiles it in a manner that any stable employee that needs to know can access. Can't all be in Ron's head.

Weaver does have a business program, but Ronnie has all the
horse info in his head, about each horse. He talks to each barn everyday more than likely more than once. He has a great staff that are loyal. He trusts them to do the work and they do. He watches every horse race if at all able. Spots things, he's got an unbelievable memory. The most significant part now is breeding their own mares and stallions, they've had pretty good success, 1st and 2nd in the Adios. Mark and Ronnie have the perfect business relationship and they're great friends.

Gosh I'd love to know how many, if any at all, that Brett Beckwith drove among those.
It's like taking two popular topics and combining them. Gee I think they're swell. ;D

It is amazing how people gobble up the BS. I saw an interview where Burke forgot a horse at a sale. It stayed there for days. No one remembers everything about 300 horses. He can't sit behind most and that would make it harder.

Amazingly, he also enters all his horses.  That alone has to be a 1/2 a day's work. Or could he possibly give a list of all the horses he plans to race at a track and tells the race secretary to put them in where he needs them? Race secretaries do love him. He makes their job easier-HE FILLS THE BOX
