I'll only speak to the numbers.....I was at Burke's training center this winter and I would say he started with about 90 or so. He also had a small group, maybe about 10 to 12, at Sunshine Meadows.

Nancy Takter had about $3.5m in earnings last year and wasn't in the top 10 for earnings. All things considered, for her, that's a very bad year. This year she's barely over $1m and not even in the top 25 as far as earnings.

Burke has a two year Gimpanzee he thinks is his best trotter since Mission Brief. Carbon Fiber won the KYSS final at Oak Grove in track record time.

I doubt that but his 2 yo Ohio trotters have not shown much.  Can't think of a worse year he has had in Ohio period with 2 year olds.  But either he will buy something or something will pop up to be good I would think as always.
