CDI did not get their way in Louisiana and are looking to sell the FG-if they sell and Illinois allows the HHRs-then you could see a new tbred track in the Chicagoland area

Thanks Luc for the update about Hawthorne on the closure/auction...I hope it goes like the Sportsman's Park auction...me and my brother entered the auction to bid on the wall tiles that painted a horse racing theme on the clubhouse entrance near Laramie ave...no bid was entered/accepted by mgmt...sucked...g ot up to the 3rd floor offices with no security nearby..."borrowed a box of rock bottom Illinois Derby glasses" and a handful of "books"...thank you very much...the treasures are in the showcases on the 1st floor of Hawthorne...who has the starting Cadillac gate car @ Balmoral Park...I want that too
