Trump gets dealt a humiliating blow after NBC News, ABC News, and CNN all refuse to bump their usual programming to show his insane election-conspiracy speech on their main networks!

As you read this, the president of the United States is giving an unhinged speech about how new intel discovered that China was plotting to replace all of our ballots with fortune cookies and that’s how Democrats were able to steal the 2020 election from him, or something equally as offensive and far-fetched.
But he won’t be on live TV all over the nation. CNN, ABC, and NBC have all declined to cut into their usual programming to air it, instead relegating it to their streaming apps.
Brian Stelter posted the news via a series of threaded posts on X.
“In sum: Trump will not be getting the wall-to-wall airtime he wants from everyone.”
NBC says "we will provide live coverage of the president’s remarks at 9pm ET tonight on NBC News NOW. We plan to air a special report on the network following the remarks."
ABC said "ABC News will run President Trump’s speech on ABC News Live and ABC News Radio with comprehensive, anchored coverage.”
CNN won't air Trump's speech live in full. Instead, a spokesperson said: "CNN will cover the President's speech as a news event, and monitor it for news developments, providing analysis and commentary from CNN experts who cover elections, intelligence and the FBI. A live feed of the speech, alongside analysis and expert commentary, will be available on CNN-dot-com and available on CNN’s All Access streaming platform."
While obviously they can’t get away with not showing it entirely, taking it off the air is a huge blow to Trump’s ability to propagate his lies to the public. Every little bit counts!
