He had 5555 starts last year and 1129 wins. That is a huge number of tests. Many trainers have a small number of positives. The Burke positives have at lease a plausible explanation. I don't just hate, I analyze the facts and circumstances around the positives.

This went (2) 26 & change qtrs and (2) 28 qtrs drawing off to win by 5. Fastest mile at meadows since last sat , 4 racing cards. Could be more if you go back further. There is absolutely no way this horse races a mile like that without have the needle shoved deep into his neck ! As far as proof , look up Usta fines and suspensions for Ron Burke , they are on there !! Let me guess , it was a mistake , he really didn’t get a positive.    Still waiting for a name of a horse that improved 5 seconds on a trainer change without breaking it's last start. I'll give you an easier one to answer. Can you name a trainer that has had a Gabapentin, AND Glaucine positive? Will eagerly wait for your reply.

While not as many starts, the same holds true for all the historically power trainers. Ledford, Robinson, Gillis, Suric,etc they all raced with impunity because what they were using to make those horses finish was getting through. It's really that simple and to have that kind of hot take on it shows me you're incapable of critical thought. I'm all for one trainer improving a horse from the previous one, happens all the time and for a variety of reasons. I've been on both sides of that equation. But please stop with that simple thought process of high starts-low number of positives. The chances of him not having a competitive advantage over the others are zero. And he knows it, that's why the sudden explosion in the scale of the operation about five years ago. You don't take on a Million per month in operating expenses and scale to EVERY jurisdiction in North America unless you know the outcome is pre-ordained.
