Back in my misspent youth I used to follow a horse called Viscount Uffington. Raced at Monti and Yonkers/Roosevelt. He was in the first race one night, should have been 4 or 5-1 but went off at over 20-1. Ran like shit. Couldn't understand what happened...until i read he was in an accident on the Cross Island Parkway that morning and had been running loose for a while before they corraled him.

On the other end of the spectrum. was watching warmups one night at Monti (yes one NIGHT, that is how long ago this was lol), all of a sudden a horse warming up along the rail the wrong way is pulled up right in front of the grandstand. Driver gets out of the sulky, eyeballs him for thirty seconds or so, and the horse drops to the ground like he was shot. Just went down. Best part is the horse was motionless as if he was deceased for a spell before resurrecting itself, getting back up and walking off the track. That one they scratched lol.

Sarah is an idiot and should stay off the track.  Doc Moore is old and should retire from riding.  If you take a good look at Sarah she is not that attractive even though people are remarking on her body.  She should wear a face mask.

Howard Parker ran into George. Parker's horse died. She was a high end filly whose name escapes me.

In 2010 Eagle Escape had to be put down (Mark Ford was the trainer) as a result of that accident.  I believe it was at Batavia.
