Jeff is a great guy if it wasn't for this man there would be no racing in New Jersey. Wake up people I can't believe the negative comments towards a man that actually took money out of his pocket to support harness racing

Who do you propose he sell it to? Do you see anybody that's interested in purchasing his White Elephant? He's stuck with it and him running or closing it. What do you think the state is going to take it back and run it? I don't think he's kidding about closing, or at least turn it into a solid B track, no stakes just the crap. It'll be interesting how long Vernon and Tioga can last.

Nobody has any reason to hate Jeff Gural. If it weren't for him, there is no chance that Meadowlands, Vernon and Tioga would all be racing. Zero. They may dislike his commentary but make no mistake he is great for this sport. For those keyboard warriors constantly calling him a "criminal", how about putting your money where your mouth is and go make him an offer to purchase his tracks since you can do a better job than him.

Jeff went to the same bungalow colony I did many years ago. I remember him racing a horse named "Shadydale Yakios". He gave my Dad the horse and it payed $12.60. I was a kid then. I never in my wildest dreams thought he'd own 3 harness tracks. He's come a long way. I think that the casino vote will be close, but will go Jeff's way. He's no youngster but I gotta be thinking he's going to retire one day. I know many here don't like him. But I think when you measure his plus and minus contributions to harness racing, I think the "game" is better with him than without him.

Although I was mostly a Yonkers guy I spoke to Jeff recently and he has a very good outlook for our business. Of course I thanked him for his contributions to harness racing. We should all be grateful of a man like this.
