I thought I read that  racehorse owners and stallion owners are required to make some kind of payment to be eligible to race there .  The guy’s a billionaire, and all he ever does is beg for money.

Give me a break, he was the savior of the Big M. How much money has he sunk into the place? He's not the downfall of harness racing in NJ, he's tried all the stupid promo's to get people there. Everybody was giving shit for most of the promo's. If he gets people there it ain't much of a show anymore, most of the year the program is a bunch of crap horses, driven by crap drivers. How you going to survive racing 2 nights a week racing crap. Nobody wants to bet on. No Casino on the ballot, I'm sure he has a plan to bail out. If Gural (or his heirs) exits his BigM lease early the state of NJ has to pay him (them) 110% of the out of pocket improvements he made.  It's a contractual obligation.  The NJSEA manages the property for NJ and leases it to Gural.

Otherwise it keeps running in its current form
