Thanks for starting this thread SDST2009.. Alot of good points on here.
I just got home from Scioto and watched the replay.. I will make a few points
First, we can all agree the horse is an absolute monster
Second, it is great for the sport to have a superstar, how "the powers that be"use that super stardom is an entirely different topic
Third,  of course the bobble doesn't deserve to drive this horse. He lucked into it. It's well documented that Roy was going to drive him his first lifetime start, but he had to be at The Meadowlands for the graduate finals. Right place, right time for McClure..
Having said that..alot of drivers had no business driving some of our sports superstars.. SBSW MacDonell, Niatross Clint Galbraith, Jenna's Beach Boy and Western Hanover Bill Fahy..I could go on and on.. so not ultra rare.
Lastly hopefully he comes to the states to compete..no horse in Canada is beating him. He is LBJ eligible and Dr. Moore hasn't been shy about racing here. Could he overcome post 7 or 8?

There's no impetus to take him away from Bob, and he is not incompetent. Are there drivers who could do better with the horse? Probably. But as you point out - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The ultimate unknown with this guy - he's never been anywhere else*

As of mid-May - continent-wide - I've seen nothing that can get within a couple lengths of him. So far nothing in Ontario can get within maybe 10 lengths of him.

I am on the Beau bandwagon. He could break my heart, but I hope he doesn't.

Regardless of what he ultimately does, I will say they are talking him up hard in Canada and he seems to be drawing crowds.

This is the sort of horse the sport needs.

*He has "been elsewhere" as he wintered and qualified in FLA. He doesn't seem like the kind of horse who won't travel well, but I will feel better about my faith in him once he wins a race elsewhere.

I meant the horse coming to the states, not bobblehead. ngc3
You made a good point about a Burke tag team effort against him. Last year he had a 5 headed monster. Not sure what Burke has in the pipeline this year

It turned out to be a 4 headed with a scratch.

Prince Hal Hanover won.

Coincidentally, a Ian Moore horse.

I called it and won too, was the Adios tmbz1

I can count all of my last year wins on a few fingers  ngc3

Why did his trainee Stockade Seelster scratch out of the LBJ?  ngc3

Is he allowed back in the LBJ?  ngc3

Doesn't Dr. Moore have enough money from the monopoly royalties?  ngc3

I think you misunderstood me SDST2009..
I meant that Burke had a 5 headed monster of 3 year old colts last year
Louprint, Swingtown, Rick Wink, Harrisburg Heist and Sippinonsearoc

:) is a smiley face, not sad  ngc3

This is the exact look on my face when bobble and the Mohawk boys pulls their stunts...  ngc3

This is totally not relevant  ngc3 but an interesting way to do some touch ups, improvements on problematic situations  ngc3 i.e. people  ngc3

ah - yes - misunderstood. I was referring to the 2yos he put Beau up against last year (Frantic Hvr, etc.).

I haven't seen everything Burke has to offer in his 3yo crop this year, but so far he doesn't seem to have that firepower.

However, he is always good for buying what he doesn't have and dropping them 1-2 seconds somehow, so I guess we'll see.

Did you put your adult size beau jangles pajamas on before you rushed back here to your thread that has gone viral  ngc3

I guess the bobble evidence #1, 20,000 lb elephant in the room will be ignored so you can glee in this thread  ngc3

No worries, life has a funny way of working itself out!  ;D

Beau Jangles is definitely a freak but he will taste defeat, they all do. He was ultra impressive last night. Is it just me or have all of the other colts regressed from last year in Ontario? The majority in that race last night are Grass Roots colts. The way it’ll shake out this year is there Gold Finals will all be 5 or 6 horse fields.

"Does bobble deserve to drive the horse.
Prison?
Maybe a prison hospital?
Maybe a morgue?"

Hate me, insult me for bobble being a cheater and it being pointed out  ngc3 I'll never get over it  ngc3

But it permanently cements who you are  ngc3

Your credibility rating now outside of President Trump has hit the floor  ngc3

Beau is simply a monster, so,  stop waiting for a negative performance and watch greatness happen before your eyes.. he'll humble everything that challenges him, including a driver error or an outrageous trip.. a Champion in every sense of the word, a true warrior and the flawless colt himself knows it.. class, speed and intelligence separates the good ones from great ones and Beau posses all the characteristics for greatness.. the sport needs a superstar, let's appreciate his stardom and praise his connections for the colts proper management..

Beau is awesome.

I assume

Next will be the SBSW on 5/23-5/30  then the NA Cup 6/6-6/13 .

The MPace final is 7/11 with Elims 7/4.

The question mark is will he run in the Messenger at Yonkers 6/26 final ? He had the GRiver start over a half last year but this would be far tougher race.

We'll see.

Horse is a monster but sure looks like a very mediocre group of 3 year old colt pacers across the sport this year.  Someone will pop up - they always do - when I go through the NA Cup watchlist update it’s very bleh
