Maiden claimers on the turf is the only lesson I learned.  I love msw only on the dirt.

But nuts...high weight horse, 0/23, Jockey 0% on grass, trainer 3% on grass...horse ran like a seasoned veteran.

The other two chalk in the 2nd and 4th win, then ALL in 1st, 3rd, and 5th makes it a $288 wager.

And of course have to have the 2nd and 4th winners picked, cold and wagered on.

Your strategy is strong, and $288 lost enough times needs a $18k return.

Did I learn anything, not sure, just that your strategy is smart.

I think it still needs an ALL at the end...the stress is just too much

I am getting very jaded, and that is not a good thing. Winning a few hundred bucks does nothing for my bankroll or gets me excited anymore. My strategy is meant for the big score. 4 figures minimum for that. Just something I've been seriously contemplating. I take it seriously to man.. I pull for all the gamblers on here, day by day and year by year that number continues to shrink

An idle mind can be a dangerous thing.
 I got all sorts of other hobbies.. love to fish, campout and travel.. hang out with the wife,friends and family.
 As far as scores, for me its the baccarat table. The Asian's with loads more money then me and dressed to the nines marvel at my ability in that game.
My process is very simple and any average horseplayer could do it. I look at a pick 5 sequence, pick out 2 of the most likely winners in that sequence.. and spread the rest.
If I think my roi is not enough, or I have any doubt about a single, I don't play it.
