Whether this is true or not, why would you post the minor’s name?  Needs to be taken down asap!

Benson Merrill is a married man and got caught bending that 16yo girl over by one of 18 kids he has with his wife.  Good ol' religious family they are.

I believe both are 18 years old and if not the state of Maine 16 is legal.

While Maine has a storied history in harness racing, most horses race for little money. Outside of the Maine Sire Stakes, it's got to be a tough "road to hoe" for any owner to make money. And with pools so small, it's not easy to make a "betting coup" at the windows. We have heard rumors for years that we'll see a "new spanking" track off the Saco Exit one day, but that will never happen. First it was investors from Boston. Next it was a group out of NYC. Then some local business folk were working on it. Nothing ever came of it. So we have Bangor. Which is ok. Then a rundown dump at the Cumberland Fairgrounds. And finally.....fair racing coming up fast. The fairs are fun at least. Over priced food. Lot's of exhibits. Free tastings of maple syrup, jams and jellies, and homemade chocolate. And lots of racing before packed old wooded stands for us to watch. But despite it all.....I love living in Maine.

It really is a great place to live. Harness racing here is fun to watch, but you are correct about it being a "losing proposition". Most of the crowds in the stands are either fellow horseman or relatives. They are not really creating any new fans.
