I guess I'd like to add Joe Anderson to my top three, but for me he went to the "dark side" so to speak, so I'm conflicted there. I never knew him very well, but I always thought Tom Simmons was an excellent horsemen, trainer, etc. He might have been far better known as a driver, but Joe Marsh Jr. was an excellent horseman. Hard to keep it to three. Too many excellent horsemen would be left off.
