As a former NYer, I can assure you the people of NY haven't forgotten 911. And as a GOPer, I would hope President Trump does not us this tragic act to push for "no immigration" from certain countries. Most immigrants come here and try to earn the "American Dream". I believe all requests for asylum from every country should be well vetted before temporary residency should be approved.
