Sakit,
I personally don't care about his sexual orientation. But Tony is Freddy Mercury type Gay.

I like Tony, he's smart, works hard. Jersey farm hard to sell, I'm pretty sure it's in land preservation. It has to stay farm land. Think about how he's stretched. 2 farms he's dumped a ton of $ into, Plus all his other expenses, Myron and company aren't spending like they used to, and he's had another shit year. Considering the $ his owners spent the last 2 years, not a good look. Also, Donna passing also hit him hard. I don't think he forgot how to train, just bad years and luck.

i agree , he has not forgotten how to train
however it appears others have figured out how to train better
hence you get left behind
and while true some of his major owners are aging and not spending at the same level he was still provided with adequate quality and quantity in 2023,2024,2025
from 12 breeders crown  divisions you would expect to see one or two horses at least in the elims , there was none at mohawk this year

Tony didn't wake up one day and forget how to train horses. He's simply on a bad run. Tony has been sent/purchased regally bred horses for years now. However, the last few years have not been good. Owners then spend less, spend more with other trainers, and so on. It snowballs. The last few years have been disappointing for him, his barn, etc. Even his owners say so, LOL. If I had to guess I would say Tony might not even be in the top 25 in earnings right now, and maybe his barn has earned what? $2.5m? Maybe $3m?

Tony will still have support, good owners, etc., and he'll regroup.

Anyone who brings up, discusses, and makes Tony (or anyone else's) sexual orientation a factor or even a topic------one, I don't want to know. Two, it speaks volumes about themselves and not the person whose sexual orientation is being questioned.

its tough for anyone to have a good year when burke is crushing everyone everywhere
its like in a race when a horse is 1/9 everyone else odds are disproportionate
chris ryder has been able to hold his own
andrew harris has actually done well
marcus melander rules trotting and then there is ake

some smaller guys jump in and grab a significant win every once in a while but it gets magnified when you have stables the size of alagna and you are a complete no show at the major races , less so but similar for takter

sir you are 1000% correct as soon they bring sexual orientation into play shows me where they’re coming from.

I love the ones that use constant vulgar -cursing language. It just displays weakness although I don’t think half of them know that. Don’t get me wrong we all curse at one time or another, but to use it as a verb or in regards to name-calling tells me they’ve had poor upbringing and lack social skills.

most of the naysayers are just sour grapes or jealous of his success

I doubt it's jealousy, but the stats don't lie, and his earnings have been trending downward the past few years, 2025 being his worst year in a long time.
