I agree with you Trigger. The horse was under a death grip the entire mile. He wanted no part of anything in that race. Slid him out and was running over the horse in front of him and went back inside to be locked

I appreciate that and I'll even say that McNair pulling that stunt for pecuniary reasons like he / a beard / a partner of his wagered against is unfounded.

Why the trainer would allow the horse to run with instructions to take at easy, you might as well scratch.

I don't know the horse's schedule, maybe there is a stake ahead.

When isn't it about money one way or another though?  All I know there is more money to be wagered and won than the entire purse in that particular race with stiffing a 1/4 shot. 

Another fact is there was no racing on Tuesday, schedule change, more time to plan this type fucked up shit.

You should of seen the look on Chantilly's trainer's face after that stiff job and the very next race following when JMac won, he wasn't in on it otherwise he was an Academy Award Winning Actor.  JMac is smiling and talking to him and he looked like he wanted to murder him, face, body language like who cares stfu and die, viciously angry in all expression.
