I have no dog in this fight. Like many, while I know Brett, he's not a friend. I am all for throwing out every cheater in the sport. Period. But guilt is not decided by people on some BB. Regardless, no, not a good look. Optics not good at all. Without question. However, Brett should get condemned-----and convicted-----for this because why exactly? Was his name on the list of buyers? That's a good starting point. Any legitimate, direct proof? Saying or posting something twice or a thousand times is nothing more than one or more of a thousand things. Armchair internet police, wannabees, jealousy, and I can keep going on and on. I am not defending him. I am defending integrity, truth, and seeking it. Post something a thousand times, and that doesn't make it true. That makes it vindictive. Some guy says renew a script for so and so, and that makes so and so guilty? That's not guilt. That's hearsay.
This is the sentiment of 95% of the horseman in NY and Saratoga. The entire world knows that Saratoga is completely run by a criminal enterprise. One that runs from zero penalties for class A positives to manipulated draws. Putting Mark Beckwith in the hall of fame is just another reason nobody acknowledges it's foolishness. Two of the last 4 people nominated refused the nomination. So here we are. Watching Jay Randall (who deserves whatever honor there is) entering with one of the businesses greatest criminals. Horses in %50 of the barns. Non stop positive tests year after year after year for HORMONES, sheepwormer etc). One of Seth Fischmans biggest clients who still uses BB3! And Saratoga hall of fame enters someone with all of this as well as being barred from multiple tracks that are only a few hours away. Ignorance is bliss is exactly right. The people just sit back and take it. Year after year they rob the locals. Positive? Put them in Marks name. The track actually allowed them to put Melissa back down again!! How long till the testosterone shows up for the 7th time? Saratoga gets what they deserve. And the hall of fame is about as relevant as the employee of the month at Market 32.
Nobody is condemning Brett... the old man has had multiple positive tests in the past two years or should I say the mother and father… And all they do is switch the horses back-and-forth as trainer… If you think the transcript of the Epogen was all made up then fine keep racing against him.. the guy is barred from most tracks on the East Coast for a reason nothing to do with jealousy, armchair police or whatever… It is what it is and you think Mark Beckwith stands for integrity and truth?… Yeah OK... Allard has nothing to do with this, and bringing him up and inferring that you know what I think about him is nothing more then cheap and foolish efforts to try and be right. I am talking about Brett. Not his parents, and not his third cousin. I never said the transcript was made up. Don't be stupid. You are collapsing a lot of accusations, with rumor, innuendo, and so on. Stick with a fact here for a second. The fact is, what I said, was that someone else referenced his name. Period. Deflect away from that all you want, but that's all I said. It's a fact. Was his name of Fishman's list? If it was, then we have something to talk about. Then, I am more apt to believe the hearsay is more than that. If it wasn't, it's just hearsay.
You are missing my point..I was posting about Mark...about his parents, not Bret..I was not condemning Bret for anything..Nobody has said a thing about Brett on this thread
