Northfield at it again
« on: September 21, 2025, 10:30:39 PM »
First a weather delay. Then the starting gate doesn't close properly and they have to cancel the 10th race. Now the odds for the 11th race has been on the screen with nothing said for 15 minutes. Tell the 10 of us who are betting the card what's going on.

Of course, as soon as I send the initial post, they come on and say unsafe track conditions forced the cancellation of the rest of the card. Guess it can't handle any rain. Cleveland sucks (I bet the Packers today).

The starting gate was going to do a spin like freehold.  Thats how bad the track was after a little bit of rain.  The starter had the gate in 4 wheel drive and still couldn't get enough grip to start the races safely.  Northfield sits around waiting  for a miracle to happen so they can race even though there was no chance that was going to happen.
