The Secretariat Club, Saturday, 9/20/25*PA DERBY+
« on: September 20, 2025, 12:51:31 AM »
This is it gang - Four 1 million dollar races happening today!

PARX - Cotillion, PA Derby, just to name two $1mil races in the 9th - 15th all stakes therein - FAST for their all dirt card, and no race under a $100k purse!

(*Both Calhoun and I predicted Journalism's team would pick this race as his next race after winning The Haskell, that is this Pennsylvania Derby at PARX, and they didn't, and in The Pacific Classic, Pletcher's Fierceness proved too big, too strong and never going to be caught by the 3 yo in Sovereignty's shadow.)

CD - 7th -10th all those dirt stakes too!  Looking FAST as well.

MST - But still, this is Mohawk when "the money is on the line" (as JMac says  :P ) soooo, from the 3rd - 10th race all stakes therein, also two $1mil races in there too - The Metro Pace Final, The Mohawk Million and the $615k Canadian Trotting Classic Final in between those two races, and all 13 races have $3.8mil+ in total purses.  Also should be FAST.

Running Aces, yeh sure why not take a gander at their Minnesota Sired Champion All Stakes All $65k purse per race 12 race card (From 7:00pm - 11:02pm EST).  Not sure the track condition prediction, I'm leaning on FAST but keep an eye there as there has been some accumulating rain, 1/2" tonight alone and tomorrow @2/10" rain too expected as well.

I'm going to look at all 31 of these races, hopefully something will click and get me to commit.  The week started out good, then slumped from Wednesday on.  Time to turn this ship upright and sail away into the sunset a winner!

Good Luck!  ;D

Have fun bello. Tonight is the last day of the Delaware County Fair so as is tradition the wife and I will be attending the demolition derby at 5pm today...and getting one last bit of fair food. After a week of grilled steaks, stromboli's, Italian sausages, fried pork tenderloins and fries with loads of vinegar, and countless beverages.. my stomach will be saying thank God that's over ngc3. I'll play a few of the runners today and as Trigger would call it MST before we leave

Hey fellas!  :)

Handicapped all 31 races, ice coffee and kept it coming all night, and then slept from sun up until about 30 min ago.  Took about 30 min just to do race 31 just couldn't keep the eyes open and focus.  Handicapped  ngc3 with the results that I have had I'm not sure I should be using that word.  ;D

Please don't "consider" - do or do nothing and vacation the day.

Believe in yourself JT, or take a break until you feel 100% ready.

It's ok to have 2 pick 5's not to say one way or the other from here what the outcome will be.

Your talent hasn't changed but this has been an exhausting week, and yesterday showed promise despite.

You know what I'm talking about bro!

Champ!  :)

You dont know the half of it.. at Presque isle I played their stakes card last night. I put my bets in and passed out. I  woke up this morning to see both pick 5's I had 4 of 5.. and had gotten my single through on each. One of them paid 8 grand.. I had 2 horses run 2nd and 3rd. The other paid 2,500. Same thing, second and third the leg I missed. The vacation will come next week when Im back to work. I took a week off in N.C. as well. 31 races is alot my friend. Good luck today.

Why we choose to gamble is another story, not that it's bad as I do not either one of us does it for self destruction, but the swings are tough.  Treacherous, but not man opportunities pay 50,100,100 times our investment, of which you're very good at.

If my life was on the line in some fantasy and someone needed to hit a multi-race wager, I'd put my life in your hands, not my own for that one.

Good luck we'll see what our outcomes are.

I felt good about my handicapping again, but the previous outcomes yuk so we'll see.
