Bad month, succeeded by a 1/8 fresh start that turned ugly quickly, coming off a win, which came off a 1/5 day, wow, like a call from the governor to the warden and they take you out of the electric chair 5 seconds before they flip the switch at midnight. 

Today's handicapping menu, 4 tracks (Delaware, Indiana, Churchill Downs and Remington), 5 races therein and those races are going to be all on the dirt, but regardless, no precipitation forecasted means FAST.

They're all Maiden Special Weight's, and yes no B@A even though opening day which is a shitty card; selections and wagers coming soon  :

That was a good itch like they should scratched this sucker  ngc3made a sharp right hand turn and wanted to leave the track  .  Got back less than half what I wagered.  The 4 took a lot of money, first time starter, 6-1ml went off at 3/2 and with top trainer, made it happen.  6 finished 2nd!

Indiana 8th key horse ran second again, that's 3/3 on seconds today, however I did not capitalize at all.  The #1 was a mdn special weight they dropped in 15k claimers did nothing put her in here back in mdn sp weight a week later.  Goes off 9/2 was the tell.

Moral of the story, if you're going to bet individual races scattered like I did today, wait for the live odds and bet within 10 minutes of the race.  That's 2 horses that got bet down heavy, this race and Delaware 1st that just didn't figure so something was up....like the needle!

Churchill Downs race 6 - A Fine Chardonnay wins at 45-1, what did I miss???

Owner corp never raced, bought horse in May for $85k, behind it is Phillip Greisinger who in 2014 went 3 - 1-0-1 for $10,308.  Neither Sire nor Dam nor Grandam won at 2 years old and the females not so hot.  Workouts mediocre to not so great.  Trainer not having a career year.  Jockey while very good and at home had competition.

The trainer is a 5%+ roi on dirt in 170 races winning at 15%.  Total means what don't underestimate him?

If you had a z or x at the end of your name you won the first 6 at CD.

Have a losing day because a 6/5 can't beat a 77-1 for fourth at Remington 6th race  , that's gambling!  Would of had that sup for .20 but likely would of still been a loss.  Cashed tickets but on $368 committed for the day lost $202.31.  1/9.

There is really nothing more unknown than Maiden races, especially when there are a number of first time starters in there, and I need to get my handicapping, instincts and wagering strategies peeked so going to do this again tomorrow!
