That's because she's running at Red Mile on Sunday in the KYSS Finals for $400,000.

Exactly, the state sire stakes are ruining the Grand Circuit.

Best advice for Delaware , and I've been there a time or two, is get out in front of the handicapping.
Especially if you are attending and socializing/partying, they will get you on the run with so many races
each day. Looks like it's gonna be nice and toasty. Get the paramedics ready. They'll be scraping some
old dudes off the deck.

Very sound advice. I always handicap most of the next days races the night before and then finish up the following morning. 20 races is alot to go through even for us diehards ;D. There will be lots of heat casualties young and old, men and women. Stay hydrated. I don't mind the heat. I've sat in that Grandstand with a winter coat and a tobaggan  on many times.

Just a bit of advice to all the bettors out there. Every race today at the LBJ is a trot.. There will be a shit ton of breaking going on. The banking of the track is what makes it so fast. TV does not do it justice how much banking there is, and alot of trotters struggle with it.. Try and find horses with alot of experience racing on a half. Furthermore, look for driver changes. Alot of these horses have been racing at the fairs with B drivers, then they come to Delaware and get a Scioto regular ie Miller or Page. Its a great betting angle. Good luck to everyone!!

good advice JT. I typically don't bet that "track" as the payouts are bad but perhaps with some favorites breaking it could be better. With the banked turns I assume the 1 post still a huge advantage there?

Actually you would think the 1 would have a huge advantage.. but it doesn't. In the program pages it lists Win, place and show percentage by post going back to 1992.
Here is the win percentage..

1 18.4%
2 17.0%
3 15.1%
4 16.1%
5 15.0%
6 8.8%
7 6.8%
8 5.6%
9 7.8%
Place and show percentages similar as well
