KC Chiefs 2025

Ive been a lifelong fan of the KC Chiefs. All I can say after last nights game is their secondary is really bad. Both running backs look slow and plodding. Travis Kelce, despite the catch and run looks tired and played out. Xavier Worthy is fast but fragile and will never be the superstar they envisioned. "Hollywood" is still great but inconsistent. And Mahomes is predictable and "off the mark". The Chiefs will win more than they lose this season. But no AFC Championship or Lombardi trophy is in their future. Many other teams are now better.

Very few teams can stay at or near the top for an extended period of time because of injuries, star players getting older and less productive, other teams are hungrier than you, plus there's such a large turnover of players every year and some of your draft picks don't work out. The New England Patriots were the exception, however once Tom Brady left, the team became mediocre at best.

Lions rolled all over the Ravens last night. Just as I predicted. Bet a few hundred, Should have bet more. Next up for Baltimore.....my Chiefs. No way Baltimore is super ready to crush the hapless Chiefs. Baltilmore ain't the Giants. LOL!

Lions should hurt the Chiefs big time next game.

I took a big gamble and bet $500 on my Chiefs today against the Lions. My rational is that the Lions secondary has been decimated and mahomes should be able to light it up. The Chiefs defense, embarrassed by the legs of Trevor Lawrence got a "tongue lashing" by the fans and the media all week. Expect them to toughen up this week. Despite KC being a favorite at home (-2.5) , I think this game is a "tossup". On to the game.....
