So corey and me gets to talkin. He goes: are you a bettor. I tells him,I come every day and my budject each day is about $40.00 a day for bettin and $100.00 for me bar bill. He laughs. I mentions that I strickly bet multiples and avoid MSW,but I will play MAIDEN CLAIMERS. And he goes: thats interestin. And he offers me some advise as a jockey about playin MSW and claimers especially 2 year olds. And especially first time starters. I ask him if he normally works them out in mornin. He goes: me days of doin that are over. I just get on and ride in afternoon. But he says. They are unpredictable. One never knows how they will re-act at gate in a real race. He goes,a bettor should never bet those races. And he also advised me: Watch past performances. If a young horse last lines show he actin up or don't break good,always lay off until he finnally breaks and runs at least a performadle race. He goes BLINKS on for first time or the trainer is givin him more gate works. SOUND advise from the MAN whould know.

I'sss goin add sum other hints about FIRST timeSTARTERS,if one is gonna play.
This from JOHN FRANK ARMY book on HORSE GAMBLIN.
(1) Most of this is bein on track live.
      (1) If you see a pony on dirt comin out first time wrapped,don't bet it. It a gonna be STIFF. You make noyations on them on your program and then wait to their second time out. And when I say wrapped,I meen front. Then if you see the fronts off their second start it meens they well meant and the barn is goin for it and usually at a price.
       (2) And one needs to be on track for this. In paddock walkin around and on apron with ponies paradin in front,watch to see if one is takin a dump. I know there different opinions on this from mostly those wo know nuttin about horse racin. It good for humans but not for horses. They either been fed off schedule,which not good or they very nervouse and will not run their race. And if the heavy favorite does this,he or she is runnin out. There others horses with a price to be had.
       (3) Always check the SIRES PRICE VRS the PURCHASE PRICE in younsters. Obviously,HOME BREDS,one can't. EXAMPLE". IF the SIRE is $60,000 and the sale purchase is $15,000,suntin wrong there. The colt or filly has sum issues. If the sale is higher,the pony has some potential.

Hi John, thank you for your experience and wisdom.  It vindicates what I've said, which is that to be a complete handicapper and wagerer when you lack certain time / geographic constraints you have to work as a team, and in this case, man the live feed (and be listening), be on track so you can watch you've said and first learn what all these terms mean and what they look like.  I've taken notes.

You told me that Nakatani story on our last call, was definitely a good one and glad you shared it with everyone.
