Beau Jangles

It's still very early but this might be the nicest colt to come along in a while. As always, it will be interesting to see when he faces the top colts, but he's now 5 for 5 and has just been on cruise control. Looks very impressive.

Harris has a Seaside colt in Lexington and Burke has Frantic Hanover other than them I don’t see much

Feels like with Kentucky’s program coming online there has been less interaction between the top 2 year olds.  I don’t even know who the top year olds are and we are knocking on September’s door.

Calendar is pushing some of this too.  Metro elims are the same day as the KYSS finals.  The Haughton is within 5-7 days of the NYSS finals, the PASS finals, the KYSS finals, the Ohio Breeders, and NJ Classic Finals.

KY has duel eligibility.  Why race the Grand Circuit when you can race in two state programs?

Understand why the horseman are doing it - just not sure having the top ones scattered all summer is great for the sport.  Obvious downstream impacts too as the top horses take all the state money

Very nice colt. Looks like he's doing what he's doing easy, gets over the ground very well, and looks handy. Big colt too. He obviously met a pretty weak bunch in his Nassagaweya division, but he showed up. If all goes well, he's going to the Metro and if he keeps going, maybe the BC.

I don't see much in the way of him running the table this year...the others don't seem as good

Metro and BC wins seem more than reasonable
