Bad accident 2nd race at Ocean Downs and the announcer didn't even notice it!  OMFG ..he was only watching the horse on the front.  Horses and drivers down!   Looked bad.  Hope everyone is okay

Trae Porter and Rick Still were both injured.  He just announced that Rick Still is being helicoptered out to the Hospital.  It looked bad.  very bad.  2-4 horses were involved.  I saw 2 get launched from the bike.   Looks like it must have been Porter and Still as he said these two sustained the worst of it.

I just read that they dispatched the Berlin Fire Co for atraumatic injury after an accident at OD.
I hope and pray for all drivers and equine involved.

5 horses ultimately made it over the finish line with their drivers of the 8 that started.

Porter on the #4 was beating the shit out of his horse on the backstretch to the point of unnecessary, and that's who took a knee down and caused the chain accident reaction.

Yep. went back and watched the replay to see who was all involved.  Porter the class clown was whipping the shit out of the horse.  Horse went down.  Not sure if he broke down or what.  Looked bad.  Then Foster and Still were behind and couldn't avoid it.  Still landed on his head and was motionless with his arm out on the ground.  Looked really bad.  Foster must have been also injured because he is off his drives now also.   Looked like Foster got up after he went down with the 6.  Was a mess.

This is absolutely correct, but I hate to bad mouth the guy after seeing that. He has to be seriously hurt, but he caused that. Prime example of why all the rocking back and forth in the sulky is bs and should be banned Rick definitely took the worst of it.. I watched the replay 3 times and that is all I could stomach.

Yeah I watched the replay to see who was involved and what happened.  Porter caused the mess.   Still and Foster couldn't avoid it.  Still was launched and landed on his neck and head.  Hopefully they are all okay but it looked bad.  No updates on the horses either.

Just heard from Russell.

“Just sore ankle for me.  Ricky and Trae got the worst of it. Ricky knocked out but regained consciousness.
All horses walked off ok”.

That horse that caused it just arrived from another trainer/owner, what a shame some trainer probably knew the horse was dangerous
